In a deal brokered by Dougray Smith The Haymarket development is now in advanced discussions to secure £100 million funding from Evans Randall. This includes a speculative office element in excess of 90,000 sq Ft. This forward funding deal means the long delayed project can progress.
A spokesperson from Evans Randall said “They were attracted to the deal by the developments prominence,critical mass, excellent connectivity and mixed use nature.”
A spokesperson for Edinburgh Haymarkets Developments also said.. “The deal demonstrates the rationale for our investment in the scheme. Not only have we been able to secure long term occupational interest from established operators,but we have also capitalised on the increasing appetite for the best located assets in regional cities.
